Not even a bit surprised

So, the president gets on the phone to the Georgia Secretary of State and basically threatens him, nudges him, pushes him, everything but bribes him to come up with the 11,500 or so votes he needs to actually claim he won Georgia’s electoral votes.

Not going to happen at all, but I’m writing this to just give you little look at how far this man will go out there in his own special universe to make things come out his own way. Except they can’t. His way is as wrong as it can be.

I would suggest prosecution, but that would be a waste of time. He is chasing a smoky dream that has been picked up by the wind and shifted into another part of the world. He can’t get it back, you don’t want him to and it’s time for him to stop trying.

Now we see in full glory who the man really is, what he is made of. There is no courage here, not an ounce of brilliance and certainly no wisdom. He has made terrible bargains and has now put himself way back in a corner surrounded only by people who tell him what he wants…no, what he needs to hear.

This would all be hilarious were it not so pathetic, so troubling and, yes, so sad. How did we ever get such an imperfect man into the Oval Office. We’ve seen bums in there before, and thieves and liars. But never anyone this twisted.

It’s time for the nation to exhale. Donald Trump lost, plain and simple. There’s no way to count votes anywhere that can change that. He may go to his grave believing in his scrunched up little heart that he was robbed, but he was not.

He was beat fair and square.

That’s going to play out over the next couple of weeks. Then we can have President Joseph Biden to face the camera and tell us something that has been missing for four sad years. The whole truth.

In the interim, pray for a vaccine you can actually get.
